Fixing PvP
There is a great way to fix the PvP to PvE relationship. Separate the games. Destroy any and all connections between them. Give PvE back everything they had to begin with. Revert all skills in the PvE game back to original stats. Put PvP on one server and PvE on another. Let PvP have all the nerf batting it wants.
STAY OUT OF MY SKILLS!
There PvP is fixed.

That doesn't fix PvP, that fixes PvE since you're basically asking all the PvE version skills to be reverted to their original state while leaving the PvP ones the way they are now.

Surely you can see Fitz, it doesn't matter, people want PvE nerfed too.

The only people who want PvE nerfed are the PvP players who cant stand the idea that someone else might be having fun and they don't get to control it or brag about how much better they are while they are doing it.

If you can pay the bills, then sure, why not?
O wait, nevermind, still a bad idea.
Why don't you create your own "perfect" PvE-PvP universe?

You know the saying they used in the Vietnam War: "We need to destroy the village to save it?"
It's quite appropriate here. Hence ArenaNet's decision to give up on GW and start a clean slate with GW2.

Threads like these are why I am starting to hate Guru, as much as I don't want to.
How exactly does this really fix PvP?

the guy is suggesting that we seperate pvp and pve, so i say, we take all the non-pve skills out of pve, and only let people use them in pvp. Omg seperated... oh wait...

I tfixes PvP because then they wont have all these pesky little PvE problems to interfere with their balancing against the flavor of the week. It fixes them, because then they will be neutered enough not to screw PvE over with their problems that we don't have.

Boy Zinger, you sound like a broken record these days. As has been stated in the past and will be stated again and again, GW is not being given up on, they will continue to support it, hell, they haven't even ruled out the possibility of making another expansion. It may not get any more new content, but so long as it's feasible the servers will continue to be run, bugs will continue to be fixed, etc etc etc.

I think Zinger is exactly right, but I doubtr the motive at ANet will result in anything balanced between the two. The experiment is a failure because it cannot work.

Fitz: just what pesky little pve problems would you be referring to? PvE will be just fine no matter what changes they make to PvP. People will complain that their favorite builds don't work as good as before, etc etc, but you know, they'll deal with it. Oh wait, that's the same complaint that PvP tends to cry too when a skill is better balanced for PvP.

Fitz, have you noticed that every time you post this same thing in a different thread or make a new thread talking about this same thing, that thread ends up closed? Could this possibly be because this idea is a bad one and nothing but flamebait? Seriously, it's not going to change, and no amount of ranting about it will change it.

Most skills get rebalanced because of PvP, not PvE. Therefore, separating PvP and PvE will affect PvEers more than PvPers because now anet won't touch the PvE side at all while they still balance the PvP side as needed.
How does that fix PvP? It doesn't change a thing for PvPers...
